We are delighted to be presenting a special evening of sacred music and dance, in connection with the National Hindu-Christian dialogue, of which the Vedanta Society is co-convener along with theNational Council of Churchesand theGuibord Center. While the dialogue is at this initial stage not open to the public, the Vandanāprogram of sacred arts is open to all and free of charge.
The program features Sanskrit chants, sacred dance offerings by Vinaini, a parable of Sri Ramakrishna set to music by Swami Atmavidyananda, Sitar-Tabla recital by Alan Cohn and Varuna Gunasekera, kirtan with theTemple Bhajan Band, and songs by Quincy Coleman.
